The planet is not in danger. It will go on with or without us. Environmentalism is a selfish luxury. Only people who can afford it care about it. When people stop worrying about food, health, a decent place to live, security and education for their children, can they start caring about the environment.
What produces these things? A free capitalist market economy that continuously produces more and more with less and less is the only way if you want to arrive in a world where everyone can afford to care about the environment.

Oh so that's why Africans, Indians and nearly every other race except Europeans treat the environment like shit. Maybe we should throw more money at them until they quit littering.

they reject them, because in reality they care more about control than the environment

if many of the environmental problems are reduced without authoritarian central planning

then they would need another excuse to justify the authoritarian central planning

Well regardless whether you believe white people have a lower time preference leading to decision making that is better for the environment due to increased intelligence and empathy or not, it's clear that in America at least, consumerism is bad for the environment. It would be better to cut off immigration completely and maintain what we can instead of bringing in third world peoples that have no invested interest in maintaining the environment.
