Gonna have to disagree.
My first wife was submissive.
Bored the shit out of me.
Wrecked the marriage.

But to each their own. Obviously human relationships come ina zillion different forms and flavors. It's not a one-size-fits-all deal.

I think marriages are like a puzzle not a partnership

like type A needs to marry type B

type A married to type A is a clash

type B married to type B is a clash

it has to fit together

I had a type A fiancee, and all we did was clash

the sex was hot, but that's all it was

Actually, divorce rates being what they are, I could see the argument being made that it isn't even a one-size-fits most deal. It's more like a half-of-you-will-luck-out deal.

But I found the failures of the first time around did wonders for ensuring the success of the second time around.

that's what I try to get Capps to understand

not being in the game at all, not getting any zone time, is just massively reducing the odds of lucking out

like he is unlikely to meet his perfect match first time out, might have to search far and wide

and he's running out of time, so he needs to induce a steep rate of climb, make up for lost time

victory is not a given, defeat is a reality

there is no such thing as pussy redistribution in this day and age

there is nothing more desperate and ruthless as the dating game

it is a harsh realm, but there's no sense crying about it, you have to pull yourself up by your bootstraps

without the agony of defeat, there is no thrill of victory

There is a backlash going on it just isn't taking the forum of an outrage mob. It is taking the form of people voting with their wallets, and not supporting woke companies.

It's going to be a slow burn. The woke own the majority of the major communication (news & social media) platforms where non-woke views are ignored, shunned, or censored. So a lot of it is blink and you miss it.
Yep, and I love it.

It's one of the reasons I dont think its over.
People use 'normie' as a pejorative, but I am convinced that wokeness simply can't stand up to the scrutiny of people with normal brains. So far they have had successes because their ideas were presented with gnomic, tortured pretzel logic that was entirely inscrutable to the uninitiated.

Robin DiAngelo and Ibram X. Kendi, however, put all their ideas out in fairly clear language - and while they became media darlings momentarily, once large segments of liberal-minded people could see what the woke really thought, they rejected it wholesale.

There has been nothing but an endless stream of 'normies' reviewing woke literature designed for popular consumption that are all variations of "I'm liberal, but this is nonsense."

There isn't a backlash - just normal people saying, 'nah, miss me with that bullshit.' Wokeness has peaked.

Me also...

Except the failures the first time around

helped ensure the success the second time around

of the same marriage.

Much more difficult to execute in real life than it sounds.

And it sounds difficult.

The key is all the other relationships in your life other than the one with your wife.

To keep you honest.

Because she doesn't have all the answers, even if she thinks she does.

Mostly agree.

Backlash vs people opting out.
Both are happening.

When I see people taking their time to ratio woke material or truth bomb them, that's more than just opting out.

I committed one hundred percent to marriage

divorce was not an option, part of it for me is being shackled together with no way out

that is what drives me to keep it evolving, I don't let it become a routine, I keep her on her toes at all times
