I agree with Marty, because it is a male dominance hierarchy

the alpha male apex predators cannot got to war with the females, God is in the way
Never underestimate the strength of a real woman.
not something that I can do, waking up every morning with my wife

she is a powerful woman, very strong, stronger than me

but she doesn't even engage in politics at all, she views it as a complete waste of time

I view good marriages as a partnership.
I have found that the sustaining drive is sexual attraction

I wasn't sure I would be sexually charged well into middle age

but as my wife ages, she just becomes sexier

the more powerful and confident the woman, the more thrilling the conquest

I view good marriages as a partnership. Each party with their own areas of responsibility and expertise.

I dont card about the daily minutia. My wife wants control of that, cool. I dont have to mess with it. Steering the ship through crisis and toward long term goals is my job.

That works for us.
This. Men will tend to focus on the bigger picture, fixing and improving, while women prefer to maintain the present stability/inner circle. Nothing wrong with that.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

because I have never been a parent, I still feel like the man I was in my twenties, on the inside at least

I am young at heart, and I am still a romantic

my wife is the same, she is still a girl on the inside, I don't see her as old, she is like the ultimate MILF

she does look young for her age, she's an ageless beauty, so in the end I chose well

I am the opposite

to me, marriage is a wild and passionate romantic adventure, with mystery and danger and tragedy

I mess with it, I keep the fire going, I never let it cool off into a "partnership"

ultimately it is not a partnership

ultimately I am the patriarch

I am the king, my wife is not a pushover, but in the end, she submits to my rule

the key is simply being a passionate lover, when you are sexy you can get away with anything

male dominance hierarchy ftw

my wife doesn't even disagree, that's how she wants it too

it's not a partnership when i have final say on everything

my wife is so independent otherwise, she actually prefers a domestic ruler

like she is a corporate boss bitch at work, but at home she is waiting on me hand & foot, submitting to me

i think its hot, just another reason I am still so attracted to her

the polarity of powerful & submissive, that turns me on

that is actually what turns women on, submission

when I see a couple who are not working, it's generally because the female is not submitting to the male

for whatever reason he is no longer able to seduce her into submission

at which point the gears just start to grind, the fire goes out, the passion is gone, and it is already over

Gonna have to disagree.
My first wife was submissive.
Bored the shit out of me.
Wrecked the marriage.

But to each their own. Obviously human relationships come in a zillion different forms and flavors. It's not a one-size-fits-all deal.
