You blew it, you could have stuck to the ruse. But it's better to plant a better one, because the old position was too obvious. Everyone knows you are always challenging people to rhyme off's more than anyone in this place by a country mile. DB ain't going to play right into your hands, he's going to want to fight on his turf, or what he perceives to be his turf.

If you don't fight him where he is best, and pick up his patterns, you'll never be able to hang with him consistently. Gotta take the lumps to make the gains, the competition doesn't come much stronger than DB, jump in deep end, iron sharpens iron. If you're afraid to get knocked out repeatedly, or are deluded enough to think you are too good to get knocked out repeatedly, or run away after you get knocked out, instead of getting right back in there, you'll never learn. Embrace the suck.
