Alan Thicke. Another beloved TV dad gone. I remember watching Thicke of the Night too.

Never was much of a fan, none the less, he was from Kirkland Lake Ontario, a self made man who worked his way up out of a mining town to some considerable fame and a net worth of $40 million, so certainly could be called a Great Canadian, thus...

2016 claims two more musicians, yesterday Rick Parfit of Status Quo and today George Michael aged only 53.

Have to admit I was never a fan of George Michael or Wham, far too much of a punk rocker at the time, but "last Christmas" does bring back memories of driving a 50 mile round trip in a near blizzard on a motorbike to see a girl. The things you will do for a girl in your early 20's....... :drool:

I read it was heart failure. But that could have resulted from too many drugs.
