To understand the climate preachers I feel like I need to revisit Munster when things were lit like this.

New Yorker: We Can’t Prevent the Climate Apocalypse
If you’re younger than sixty, you have a good chance of witnessing the radical destabilization of life on earth—massive crop failures, apocalyptic fires, imploding economies, epic flooding, hundreds of millions of refugees fleeing regions made uninhabitable by extreme heat or permanent drought. If you’re under thirty, you’re all but guaranteed to witness it.
Religious nuts gonna nut, I reckon. Some people just want to see the world burn.
I would bet money that, when you die, it will be 11 years away according to the "consensus".

The Climate Anabaptists claim that they'll "ignore" the heretics, right?

Orthodoxy ain't in the ignoring business.

The science is settled.

All movements have their extremes.
Hardly Earth-shattering news.
One extreme makes over the top doomsday predictions while the other extreme claims it is all a big hoax.
Yet you decide to take the side of one extreme anyway while pointing fingers at everyone else. Sad.

No, I'm not on the extreme, you won't find me alongside Extinction Rebellion shutting down Heathrow with drones next week (or whenever they're doing it).
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

You're not extreme, but you believe white people should be denied, for example, straws because Chinese, Indians, and Africans pollute the oceans..

When his only solutions to the problem all involve government intervention and he calls himself an eco-fascist, that's pretty extreme.

No, just the adults.
Kids can have reusable straws.

That's not true either. People should take personal responsibility. It's no good waiting for governments to pull their fingers out of their arse.

As long as the green doomsayers refuse to consider nuclear energy I can't believe they are serious about solving the energy emissions problem. Is there a true crisis or is it just something that gets used to push pet agendas?
There are environmental reasons for opposing nuclear energy. I don't personally support them but they have some validity.
