As long as the green doomsayers refuse to consider nuclear energy I can't believe they are serious about solving the energy emissions problem. Is there a true crisis or is it just something that gets used to push pet agendas?

They can't convince me they believe it when they by seaside mansions and have the private jet idling for the next gala half way round the globe.

We all know the cleanest most renewable energy is Hydro electric. Yet the Greenies hate it. Every single town near mountains and hills with water should have micro community power. Self sufficient. But regulations always favor those currently in power.

Countries vary, but I would say that with effort, 10-20% of the US could be on small hydro electric. Imagine what that would do to everyones energy costs if we suddenly had 20% more power.

This VW pickup came out in 1980 and got 50 miles to the gallon.

It was only available in the US for a few years.

That was because the Germans didn't want to buy your frozen chickens.

What percentage of the earth's climate changing is on humans, and what percentage has nothing to do with human activity?

Yeah, I know correlation=/=causation. Except when it does. We have geologic evidence that CO2 levels affect global temp. Glaciers are retreating and disappearing all over the world. Glacier National Park will be glacier free in our lifetime. In my neck of the woods Spanish mackerel have made a huge appearance for the first time in anyone's memory this far north. I could go on indefinitely, but doubters are not evidence based.
Go back 400 years.

To understand the climate preachers I feel like I need to revisit Munster when things were lit like this.

New Yorker: We Can’t Prevent the Climate Apocalypse
If you’re younger than sixty, you have a good chance of witnessing the radical destabilization of life on earth—massive crop failures, apocalyptic fires, imploding economies, epic flooding, hundreds of millions of refugees fleeing regions made uninhabitable by extreme heat or permanent drought. If you’re under thirty, you’re all but guaranteed to witness it.

Religious nuts gonna nut, I reckon. Some people just want to see the world burn.

All movements have their extremes.
Hardly Earth-shattering news.
One extreme makes over the top doomsday predictions while the other extreme claims it is all a big hoax.

It is ironic that certain people try to discredit the issue by labelling it a religion though, as if religions are false because they rely only on belief. Makes me chuckle every time...
Next, they will be calling evolution a religion.

Recognise them as extremists and ignore.
