MP Farage is not even possible. He's tried 7 times to get elected and failed every time.
All he's doing with his Brexit party is splitting the vote on the right.
PM Corbyn is now possible though, God forbid. May goes at the end of the month.
If the choice for the next Tory leader comes down between Boris and Mogg I think Bo-Jo wins.
Will have to have a general election soon after May steps down though.

There is no such thing as unrestricted free speech.
Every civilised country on earth places restrictions on free speech.
Try slandering someone or shouting fire in a crowded theatre.
Slander laws are largely ineffective anyway

Breaking news.
Boris Johnson is to be charged with misconduct in public office over the lies on the bus.
It is alleged that the ''£350 Million a week sent to the EU'' claim was deliberately misleading.
The case has been brought by Norfolk businessman Marcus Ball and paid for with crowdfunding.
Not good news for Bo-Jo's leadership campaign.

Mr Ball, a startup entrepreneur from Norfolk, said earlier this month the case was a 'world first'.
Speaking before a preliminary hearing he said: 'This case is a world first, it has never happened before. A member of Parliament has never been prosecuted for misconduct in public office based upon alleged lying to the public.
'My backers and I aspire to set a precedent in the UK common law making it illegal for an elected representative to lie to the public about financial matters.

Stop the presses.
How is that misconduct? It's all in the game.
Are they going to start charging any politician who "deliberately misleads" people? If so, they are going to have to charge them all, or it's clearly being selectively enforced on politicians certain people don't like. British clown show continues.

Misleading the public in the most important decision since the war is just playing the game?
I thought we all wanted more accountability for career politicians.

Re: Brexit
Wanting more accountability doesn't have to mean being naive enough to think you can get it. Making rules against politicians lying is not going to stop them from lying, it's useless virtue signaling. Misleading voters to believe something you want them to believe is what politicians do, if it surprises you that it's part of the game, then you don't know shit about politics.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2019 3:31 amHow is lying about finances misconduct?

Expecting politicians not to act like politicians is asinine and counter-productive.

You think the threat of career-killing prosecutions won't deter politicians from making blatant lies?
