Pets, especially carnivorous ones are a bad idea.
Now you are down on dogs?
Man's best friend?
Where does this end?
I said it’s a bad idea, and it is. Responsible dog ownership involves castration, that right there should tell you something is off about this relationship. You know how many healthy cats and dogs are euthanized because of irresponsible humans, breeders, etc?

When humanity is extinct.

Castration is not a necessity by any means. Getting a female neutered is often necessary because females are fucking awful when they are in heat and nobody wants vaginal blood all over the house.

Well over a million dogs & cats get euthanized in shelters every year. The only reason this number is so LOW, is due to fixing pets who we don't plan to breed. Un-fixed, two cats can become 10,000 in 10 years.

Not sure what the rate is for dogs, but has to be similar, because they also have large litters.

Humans cutting off organs and pieces of their best friends to alter their behavior and for convinience has never sat right with me.

But compared to the meat market animal holocaust it’s not a big priority.

Eating rabbits can give a dog worms anyway.
Best to shoot the little pests and make some rabbit and leek pie.
Just give the dogs ground up pumpkin seeds, gets rid of worms.

Convenience? The employees at animal shelters who have to euthanize over a million healthy animals each year, due to lack of ability to care for them (space, food, personnel,) don't find it convenient at all. These people absolutely hate that part of their job.

WTF?

All Temperance leads to Hatchetation, first they came for your burgers, then they took your dogs away.
