EDIT: Dammit dude, no kindle version, so no free sample; and the paperback is $29. I may have to wait until I have time to scour the local libraries, unless you have a pdf available somewhere.

Big city lawyer can't expense it as CLE?
Every dead tree is sacred; buying a paper book is not to be taken lightly. :innocent:

What happens when you run out of low tax and low regulatory states to move to?

I reject the notion that high tax states are subsidizing low tax states. We've found recently that California and other states were getting tax credits from the Federal government to pay high state taxes. https://www.heritage.org/taxes/commenta ... tax-states and that's only the tip of the iceberg. These high tax liberal states take from the rest of the country in a vast number of ways.
The numbers don’t lie. Every year there’s a list of states that get the most and the least back from the federal government. And obviously states with low incomes don’t have the money to send. Someone has to subsidize them or they’d be third world.
Yes, the numbers lie, they lie a lot. I gave you an example you ignored. For decades the heartland has subsidized your high tax rates, and that's only a drop in the bucket of how Federal Tax expenditures are hidden. Illegal immigration is another, and all the costs associated with it that aren't tallied. Those ports you brag about susidized, the giant universities are subsidized, and it never ends.

You said yourself you are leaving, if these place are so wonderful, why would you ever leave?

There is a pattern for Leftist control of states and cities, Leftist control destroys the productivity and health of states and cities. Detroit prior to Leftist control was a productive booming area, same with California, it's like Locusts that move into a bountiful area, strip it clean and move on.

Here you go Hanarachy - I'll keep it real simple for you....

Perhaps tyranny of king (which requires removal of a single individual) is less of a threat than the tyranny of Mob rule.

King results in a crap shoot every generation...but the cycles are longer...and bad kings can be killed....thus, which is more stable over the long run?

Not like anyone has ever debated this before.....
It was plenty simple the first time you said it.
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

There are not enough people in the heartland making enough money to subsidize the cities to any meaningful extent. Trump is cannabalizing the most productive states (which will always be the most expensive states in which to live) for political purposes. This isn’t going to end well for anyone. The best that could possibly happen is that talent and gumption migrates and eventually the heartland will become the cities. Unfortunately, the countries that support economic engines will eat our lunch before that happens.

Also, I don’t want to leave. I will reach a point where I don’t produce enough to stay at my current lifestyle yet am not willing to downgrade my lifestyle enough to remain. I produced enough to go elsewhere and thus reaped reward for previous gumption. That is the way of the metropolis. More reward for people who are willing to go outside their comfort zone.

The cities fail because their full of imported and DNC gown poverty proles....cities should pay for themselves and then some....but progressive cancer has ruined them.

Poverty does automatically lead to prole cancer....but collectivism almost always does....collectivism spares and encourages the growth of proles that would normally be bread out...

DNC grew hundreds of millions of proles....like a tumor....it has now gone stage IV.

Let's look at the richest and most Lefty city in the country.............. Washington DC. What does that city produce ?

Basically nothing, it just consumes.

It "produces" levers of power for the 0.1% to consume.
