Democratic Strategy in Play
√ Phase 1 – Activate last minute delay chaos (prior “Me Too” investment).
√ Phase 2 – Use sex assault claims to demand investigation, further delay. Use republicans, not democrats, to establish/frame the delay.
√ Phase 3 – Use investigation to frame validity narrative; further delay. Use republican fear (leverage Jeff Flake) not democrats, to continue the delay. Manipulate FBI. Shift investigation goalposts. <=WE ARE HERE
√ Phase 4 – Use “deeply flawed investigation” narrative (witnesses ignored); to isolate Murkowski/Collins and keep Flake in position. Drum mid-term “Let the voters decide”.
Phase 5 – The mid-term election.
UPDATE
We just hit Phase 4
NBC: FBI Leaving “Dozens Of Potential Sources Of Information” Outside Of Kavanaugh Probe
With rumors circulating that the FBI may wrap this up by today, NBC reports that dozens of people haven’t been contacted by investigators:
More than 40 people with potential information for the investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh have not been contacted for interviews by the FBI, NBC News has learned.
The bureau is expected to wrap up its expanded background investigation as early as Wednesday into two allegations against Kavanaugh — one from Christine Blasey Ford and the other from Deborah Ramirez.

You are lying, you defended the process in an argument with Cappy. Did Cappy make you do that? Is that his fault? You know exactly what you did. Undercover hack so desperate to not be called out, well too bad so sad. We got the record.
When I state, factually, that our Congress is filled with criminals, is that my support? Nope.
Stating, factually, that 60 were needed to pass was not an opinion.
1+1 = 2 = well, that's just your opinion, man.
Is this a joke?
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?

Still waiting to hear how my FB exchange proves I'm a hypocrite.

I'm not calling you a hypocrite. I'm embracing freedom of sexuality for Swetnick. She shouldn't be distancing herself from gang bangs, but embracing it, supporting other Nasty Women...…………………….. it's the only way to be free of the White Patriarchy.

Doing two chicks is exhausting. It has to be even more so for a chick to bang two dudes.
This one sounds like a real trooper, though.

What's ironic? That I'm consistent in my thinking, without needing the letter next to the name to figure out my opinion?

I get it Kath, but it's pretty ironic that you'd bring that up when that is exactly what they are attempting to do to the Kavanator.

I wouldn't know. Where is this activity approved in the bible? I thought it was one wife per dude, and no sex outside marriage.

I had a $120k mortgage in 1991, while making (back then when I took out the loan) $43k/yr, so I was in debt roughly 300% of my yearly "GDP". How on earth did I pay off that mortgage in 13 years (on a 30yr mortgage) while making "less than I owed" on a yearly basis? (While, btw, putting 12% pre-tax into my 401k)
Hmm, perhaps I spent less than I made and
didn't keep racking up more debt, but rather paid extra on my payments whenever I could to knock down the principal faster.
Our problem isn't the debt by itself, it's that we keep living beyond our means and borrowing more just to pay the interest on the debt we already have - and running up even more debt/interest in the process. (Mindless that $21trillion is a false number since it doesn't count the SS/Medicare "trust funds" which are way more debt).
So, with what you’ve said, how do we pay off our debt? Seems logical enough.
If you can figure it out, I’ll give you a cookie.
Obviously: spend less than what you make, and use the remainder to pay down debt.
The obvious alternative is to make (tax) more.
Of course then I will add to that: human nature is when you make more you'll find ways to spend more.
That's why most lottery winners wind up worse than they were before they won after a few years, they run off blowing their money on new cars, boats, multiple homes, giving money to friends/relatives, etc - and next thing they know the money is gone and they have lots of stuff the can't afford to keep/maintain, and they're selling the toys at a loss to pay the taxes on the homes they'll lose eventually too, while all those 'friend's that were around for the good times are nowhere to be seen again and don't return your calls. (This is where we are headed in the long run, since we've given our politicians the perpetual winning lottery ticket *and* a no limit credit card).
Let me give you my life rundown. I am debt free after a year of working where I am.
I was in debt to the song of well beyond 300%. I lived exactly like I did before getting the job and acted as if the new money wasn’t there.
Now we are debt free, we gave ourselves a 25% increase in funds. The rest goes into savings and emergency bills.
We can tax more all we want (as a govt) but if we don’t save the new money to pay off the debt.
That is the problem. Those in power treat our incoming money as a blank check, that there will always be more coming in. That’s not the case.
