US GDP approx $19 trillion
US National Debt $21. 4 trillion

The US government has over-spent by an amount greater than the nation produces in a year - but the problem is we aren’t taxed enough.

Martin’s a taxer.
Too bad taxing ALL of our productivity at a 100% tax rate still wouldn’t cover his government’s spending.

If only the rich paid their “fair share”.
Hahahahahahh
Whoo!
Remind me again. How do you pay off debt while making less money than you owe?
I had a $120k mortgage in 1991, while making (back then when I took out the loan) $43k/yr, so I was in debt roughly 300% of my yearly "GDP". How on earth did I pay off that mortgage in 13 years (on a 30yr mortgage) while making "less than I owed" on a yearly basis? (While, btw, putting 12% pre-tax into my 401k)

Hmm, perhaps I spent less than I made and didn't keep racking up more debt, but rather paid extra on my payments whenever I could to knock down the principal faster.

Our problem isn't the debt by itself, it's that we keep living beyond our means and borrowing more just to pay the interest on the debt we already have - and running up even more debt/interest in the process. (Mindless that $21trillion is a false number since it doesn't count the SS/Medicare "trust funds" which are way more debt).
So, with what you’ve said, how do we pay off our debt? Seems logical enough.

If you can figure it out, I’ll give you a cookie.

There is no middle and there never was. It's a masturbatory tactic by people who want attention.
The attention I want is for my key issues, that I've posted twice, now. Feel free to tell me which team represents my interests, with an explanation of what that team is doing about those issues.

Your list of major issues rightfully should be major issues - I too agree with all of them. But what you seem to have not recogonized yet is that there are major threats far beyond the level of danger to your liberty than anything on your list comming from the neo-left these days. Simply put - the threat of the left is eclipsing anything the Neocons have done. You will be forced to pick a side soon.

Obviously: spend less than what you make, and use the remainder to pay down debt.

The obvious alternative is to make (tax) more.

Of course then I will add to that: human nature is when you make more you'll find ways to spend more.
That's why most lottery winners wind up worse than they were before they won after a few years, they run off blowing their money on new cars, boats, multiple homes, giving money to friends/relatives, etc - and next thing they know the money is gone and they have lots of stuff the can't afford to keep/maintain, and they're selling the toys at a loss to pay the taxes on the homes they'll lose eventually too, while all those 'friend's that were around for the good times are nowhere to be seen again and don't return your calls. (This is where we are headed in the long run, since we've given our politicians the perpetual winning lottery ticket *and* a no limit credit card).

You supported the filibuster, you know you did. Stop lying. Your bluff was called and you got caught your pitiful little "what? me! I know nothing." routine is tired and should be beneath you. You really trying for that useful idiot role.
Lol - I've never supported the filibuster process, even the fake ones on TV. You continue to confuse a discussion about process with opinion.

Or what? Is the partisan police force going to arrest me until I choose a side? This country swings back and forth and back and forth. The only good thing about this messed up system is that the middle forces the parties to take turns being in charge, so we can't go too far in any one direction. Radicals on both sides suck. The middle decides elections, not the far left & right.
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?

Lock to her up.
The boyfriend, who still remains anonymous, wrote the Judiciary Committee about the relationship:

– Ford never mentioned sexual assault
– Ford never mentioned Kavanaugh
– Ford not scared of confined spaces
– Ford not scared of flying
– Ford knew how to beat polygraph
– Ford cheated on him/committed fraud
