Obama never separated children from their parents. That is just StA trying to mislead everyone in thinking that Obama did this also but he never did it. Obama DID detain people and he also had a deal with children coming in here without parents but the children who came into the US WITH their parents were never separated.

As repulsive as this entire mess is, where the hell is child protective services in the states where the children are being held?

Foster care is awful for kids, abuse is off the charts in the Foster Care system. Turning kids over to the government protection is not, protection.

And yet that's what's happened to them. They're not even being held in a normal orphanage. This is even worse.

Now the press if finally reporting what has been going on for years, there is a huge outpouring of sympathy to the kids over longstanding US policy. I really think this can be handled through a Grassroots movement. All people have to do is volunteer to sponsor these illegals and you bring them into your home and the problem is solved.

I imagine that they are in the same spot as when this was happening under Obama, Bush. Jr., and probably longer. In the 80's I worked in restaurants. ICE would come do raids every couple of months. Some of those people I worked with had children.

I think the best thing to come out of this Trump presidency will be a better understanding, on both sides, on how exactly the same both parties are, save the wedge issues that they use to divide us.

Both parties have been generally the same on this issue, going back to Reagan, at least. Nixon may have been the last president to take it seriously.

They don't really give a damn about the kids. There will be no clutching of pearls. Just like they don't really give a damn about minorities or the poor. It's just about what they can exploit for political power. That's all.

This is exploitation. There was no political power to gain from making this an issue when Barrack Obama was doing it, so none of their corporate media reported it and they didn't talk about it.
