if you believe that's complete bullshit you have no connection to reality. I'm not a believer, but I know plenty including my wife. If it wasn't for needing to put the kids through college she'd give away half of what we make. There are plenty of people on the left who truly believe in what the great teachers of our religions how to say about charity, humanity and humility. And those teachings have nothing to do with decorating trees and giving presents to children. But you want to elevate a materialistic "family holiday" over the actual teachings of your most important figure. Seriously, what would Jesus think?

At least we Jews have the intellectual honesty to know that Hanukkah is bullshit too, a third-rate holiday given a boost because of its proximity to Christmas.
