I did go on, with three modern examples.

Sure. Probably a tiny minority hugely amplified by the lens of media.
no definitely, i agree, i spent those years defending the tea party as more of a response to that huge financial collapse and soaring deficits, instead of the half-black guy.

that being said i'm going to play the anecdotal card and say that i live in rural-ish california, and would talk to dudes that were concerned about the closet muslim in the white house. i'm not saying its the prevailing narrative, but it is definitely there

it's not worth your time to give the benefit of the doubt to shitheads in the republican party

It’s true that a certain subset of liberals take an unhealthily negative view to culturally binding rituals for no other reason it seems but to criticize tradition for its own sake.

But the idea that only a tiny minority of Conservatives took issue with Obama on an identity level is laughable to anyone that listens to what conservatives listen to and knows well, Conservatives.

Lol I knew that you specifically would come here and respond specifically with those exact words.

But no, not all traditions are created equal, some are worth criticizing because they’re not harmless, like human sacrifice, or animal sacrifice, or meat-eating.

Of all the impotent tactics against veganism, pretending you believe plants
are sentient or that you would even care if they were has to be one of the most ridiculous.

In short, neither of us really thinks plants are sentient, with good reason, but we both know animals are.

But I don’t want to thread-jack. I want to hear how liberals are hell bent on the annihilation of all that is good and holy. I’m about to make popcorn, you see.

Of all the tactics against omnivorism, spoken by someone who in all likelihood uses every modern comfort, doesn't care about unborn babies, the idea that you genuinely care about animals is ridiculous. Fetuses are smarter than any crab. There will be plenty of animals in hell with you though. Especially the ones that murder innocent trophy hunters and meat farmers, or the ones that bite mailmen.
