Just write a cookbook for desert pizzas.

Really needs to be fried plantains on top, though.

Sweetened mascarpone cheese instead of icing.
Bake the flattened doughnut mixture in advance add coulis, cheese and toppings then flash under a hot grill to brown it off.

Fine dining, food theatre restaurants would love it. Michelin star territory.

I really want to try making one now.

Not if you use a layer of strawberry puree topped with icing. Donut dough. Probably glazed donut end crust..
