That's a lot higher ratio than the general public.
Neither of the first two in line to the throne saw active service. In fact you have to go down to 6th in line to the throne before you get to Harry who did see active service.
Immediate heirs to the throne are protected from active service and Harry was in fact criticised for doing so as it made him and his unit special targets of the enemy forces.

can i get a tl;dr summary of whats happening over there

Parliament had a vote on who should control the agenda in Parliament.
The choice was the Government or Parliament.
Parliament won and now have the opportunity to pass a bill to ensure there is no no-deal Brexit.
There are 3 days left before Parliament is suspended (if the courts allow a suspension).
The govt lost its majority when a Tory MP crossed the house and joined the Lib' Dem's.
Boris threw 21 Tory rebels out of the party including Churchill's grandson and the father of the house.
Boris has threatened to call a general election but doesn't have the 2/3rds majority needed to succeed in calling for an early election.

It's been a busy day.

It's hilarious really.
The leader of the government is calling for an early election after losing his majority and booting 21 MPs out of the party but the leader of the opposition party is refusing to back his call despite having spent the last year calling for one.

The Leader of the House seemed very relaxed ahead of a crucial vote when a rebel alliance of MPs voted to seize control of Commons business. Labour’s Anna Turley MP described him as looking like ‘the physical embodiment of arrogance, entitlement, disrespect and contempt for our parliament.’ He was called out during the debate by Green Party MP Caroline Lucas for his ‘contemptuous’ body language. She said: ‘For the benefit of Hansard, the leader of the house has been spread across around three seats, lying down as if that was something very boring for him to listen to tonight.’

Wrong. The Queen is not just a figure head, she is the country, and she has real power, she just lets others exercise that power on her behalf.
