Right, so we should listen to your lo-info master who believes wheels have been around for longer than walls?
If Mexico is going to pay for the wall, why does Trump need money from Congress?

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Everyone here is old enough to remember when Mexican voters were more conservative and the democrats demanded better border security because Mexicans took American jobs and republicans were exploiting their labor. Now that they vote blue they flipped their stance to Mexicans are just trying to make a better life for themselves taking jobs that nobody wants.

100 billion to increase security and preserve our culture and way of life? Sounds like a bargain.

1. Gotcha games no adults care about (wheel comment, Mexico paying)
2. Steel can be cut
3. Infrastructure costs money
I can see why people of your particular beliefs and persuasion are dominating this debate.

Don't just listen to him, listen to the people who have to patrol and live on that border every day. Or listen to the Democrat masters who were for the not that long ago, but now call it immoral for no other reason than political gain? Constantly bringing up unrelated shit Trump said doesn't win you any debate points, it only proves you have no real argument.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 12:06 pmRight, so we should listen to your lo-info master who believes wheels have been around for longer than walls?

Don't forget that when asked direct questions related to his statements he ignores them, knowing full well they won't hold up.DBTrek wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 12:12 pmOpposition to the wall:Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 12:06 pmRight, so we should listen to your lo-info master who believes wheels have been around for longer than walls?

1. Lies don't matter.
2. Facts don't matter.
3. Money doesn't matter.
Also, integrity and consistency don't matter.
ALL THAT MATTERS IS JUST BUILD THE FUCKING WALL SO TRUMP CAN GET RE-ELECTED.

I don't want a politician that lies. I don't want a politician that lies to get a wall. Those are my two choices and I will take the latter.Montegriffo wrote:

Facts matter. The truth is that democrats don't want a wall because they want Hispanic votes and republicans don't want the changes that come with them. It's our country and we have every right to keep out anyone for any reason, immigrants whose children are voting to change our way of life being one of them.
Money matters. I wouldn't support a 100 trillion dollar wall. I want border security and am willing to pay what it costs to protect the country.

1. What lies? That Trump said the wheel came before the wall? That he said Mexico would pay for it? Neither affects the justifications for a wall.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 11, 2019 2:01 pmSupport for the wall.

2. A number of posters have outlined numerous facts to back up our support for a wall in this thread and others. It's not our fault you choose the Pelosi line of defense with "I reject your facts".
3. Money does matter. Again, numerous posts about what the cost will be and justification for that cost. Again, you just go the la la la la route choosing not to listen.
