Countdown to SJWs bitching that all the state enforced closed captions are in English ....
Why do they want to make television viewing at the bar worse for deaf people?
No one at the bar can hear the screen. We are all deaf to what the announcer is saying... why would you want to clutter the screen?
I was going to ask exactly that. I can think of zero times I could hear the noise coming from the television at these types of establishments. It'll be brutal for games. We can currently watch without hearing and generally understand what's going on. Add in CC, and now you have to decide if you are going to watch what happens or read what happens. They will never be in sync with each other.
My dad used to listen to the local announcer on WGN for football while turning the volume off on the tv. It was super annoying.
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?
The value pick is the Seattle Thunderbirds of the WHL at the ShoWare Center. Tickets are $22
We don't go to sports events based on price tag. I only go if I care about the color of the laundry on the field.
I'm taking Nerd to Jacksonville for the game opener against the Chiefs. He wants to see that freak of nature (Mahomes,) in person, at least once. Tickets were ridiculous, but it's his birthday present.

I'm not paying $14 for a beer when I can drink a $2 beer and watch it on tv.
In terms of socialized drinking, I just hang out with the hockey dads at the local arenas.
Wherever my nephew is playing we just tailgate in the parking lot and then the wives drive everybody home.
