Yep, and it wasn't enough to bring down the towers. Therefore, it's pretty safe to assume that no matter which story is true, it was determined that something different needed to be done. And since nobody would believe that Al Qaeda infiltrated the building enough to place synchronized explosives everywhere, we can assume that this was the best way to accomplish their goal.de officiis wrote:One of the WTC buildings was bombed in its parking garage several years before the 9/11 attack.

I think de o was talking about the 1991 bombing which failed to bring down the Towers. I think that the plane highjacking plot was put in motion not to long after that.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Yep, and it wasn't enough to bring down the towers. "In the days after the bombing, investigators surveyed the damage and looked for clues. About 300 FBI agents were deployed under the codename TRADEBOM.[22] While combing through the rubble in the underground parking area, a bomb technician located some internal component fragments from the vehicle that delivered the bomb. A vehicle identification number (VIN), found on a piece from an axle, gave investigators crucial information that led them to a Ryder truck rental outlet in Jersey City. Investigators determined that the vehicle had been rented by Mohammed A. Salameh, one of Yousef's co-conspirators.[23] Salameh had reported the van stolen, and when he returned on March 4, 1993, to get his deposit back, authorities arrested him."

If you want the truth, I think the 356 is a nicer than the 911.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
