Recent history shows that the following governments were good at keeping proles in line:
USSR
North Korea
PRK
UK
USA
Don't believe me on the last one? Don't pay your taxes for a few years and see what happens.
@GCF - the big difference between the rich and the poor - access to technology. I see 0.01% backed governments of the world crushing proles down....like proles....

Not sure where you're going with this either...
I believe technology has gotten to the point where the ruling class no longer has to fear the proles....in other words, there won't be another French Revolution - no matter how much life sucks for the proles. So when prole jobs get replaced via automation, the rich won't have to give a fuck as to how to handle them....

Even if that's the case, it's very temporary. Technology is not isolated to elites for long. iPhones are in every pocket now, despite being nearly unattainable for the masses 10 years ago.
The main advantage the Rich will always have is superior weaponry. You will never see heavy armament among the masses (and thank goodness). But even that is no security against a large-scale movement. There is simply no defense against your own people, unless you're willing to go full Hitler.

Now you're catching on...
The elites never slaughter the proles all at once. Ever, that I can think of. It's a gradual leaching/degrading/ignoring process, until they rise up and slaughter the top.

What I'm saying is that the proles won't be able to rise up, even en mass - they'll simply be slaughtered - en mass.

Not unless the military stays with the elites. That's been the key to everything, in every uprising since Rome. Nothing matters during anarchy, except which way the big guns are pointed.
