How could NATO possibly win? They’re outmanned, little munitions making ability, and once the technology runs out in a couple months, are at a strategic disadvantage too. Plus, Russia is prepared for war having battle ground experience with drones. Not to mention that China would ally with them; the largest manufacturing capacity in the world. What’s NATO got? We couldn’t even get troops over there in this modern drone/missile environment if we had them.
Don’t know what ‘win’ even means in this scenario…
Conquer what’s left of the earth? We’ve got all the sea power, and 2 oceans, so it certainly wouldn’t be them.

America’s not going to lose other than prestige, unless there’s an all out nuclear war, but Europe certainly would. Them threatening Russia is little dog tactics.

Russia is not in a good place, but neither is Ukraine. It is in all practicality a stalemate. Both sides have taken heavy losses. As of today both sides are losing this war. Here is the key, though, as long as Ukraine retains NATO support it isn't going to get much worse for Ukraine as it is right now. On the flip side, the longer this war goes the worse and worse it will get for Russia. Any escalation, short of nukes, doesn't really change this equation, which is why NATO is support escalation. As long as Russia doesn't go to nukes, any escalation is going to cause more harm to Russia than Ukraine.

In a war of attrition Russia will eventually outlast Ukraine, but NATO is making sure it will come at a cost to Russia that could destroy Russia.
Remember what I said originally? I said Russia may win against Ukraine but they aren't going to win overall.

With their attempt to create a new power in the East with China and India as partners, it wasn't going to last long especially if Trump won.

Which he has.

China is going to see a massive reduction in sales to the US (one of its largest partners) and India is getting tired of what they are seeing already.

Africa is already pushing back against China too.

The Eastern power with Trump in the WH is not going to survive.

Russia and China are both in a bad place long term. This is linchpin on MAGA and that mentality holding the WH for the next eight years.

If they only keep in for the next four, China and Russia may eek out a win ultimately.

Still no idea what the hell you mean by ‘winning’.

Depends on the situation, Russia could save face or get a face full of it depending on the next 8 years.

Does winning mean
- continuing to exist as a major power?
-conquering Europe/asia/something else?

or are we in some imaginary global struggle because the Cold War never ended in some sick neocon heads

If this war has proven anything it is that Russia is not a military threat to NATO in a conventional war.

Whoa! Dude! Where are you getting your news? Russia is wiping them out. In the European theater, Russia would win, just like they’ve done in every other war.

We've been conditioned to rapid advance shock and awe warfare against 3rd rate opponents. So Russia not taking Ukraine in a month looks odd to us. But there are several factors at play here you have to understand.

1. Wars done happen that way in Ukraine. Due to terrain and weather you have up to 4 months a year to make advances.

2. This is a war of NATO v. Russia.

3. Russia doesn't fight rapid advance wars.
