More people, less money between them all. It has been proven that the rails have been having crashes and other issues. Some people work for the train and rail systems that have been there for 30+ years... When did we start seeing things like train crash happening, and we can't nail down why? We have to question who or what is causing it.

if it comes down to not enough people to work around the clock and you have a handful of people working 16 to 20-hour days... it will affect quality in the long run. The guy I know gets beat down pretty hard after a few weeks and when he takes a weekend to himself, he is useless around the house. He sleeps the majority of the time there and no one sees him.

A human being in not meant to be treated like that constantly.

They may be making bank, but when something is sacrificed, we need to see how to resolve it. We did it for pilots, this should be treated no differently.

It’s not like Norfolk-Southern can’t afford to pay 1,000 more guys that wage if needed. They just got a little too ‘efficient’ for their own good.

Hopefully they don’t find some way to weasel out of liability on this.

Right now I'm working a job that went from local leadership to all of North America. My income will jump up depending if the budget allows it.
