"Racism," especially the Marxist kind (Post Modernism), is any outcome where there is a difference between the races. The NBA is an example of a "racist" organization. So is the NFL. So is pet ownership: that's why dogs are "racist."

This didn't used to be the definition of "racism." Back-in-the-day, racism meant lack of equal opportunity rather than lack of equality.

What would be racist is thinking they are lesser because you find them unattractive to you personally, or trying to convince others that they should not date that race because you personally find them unattractive. Calling her racist because she isn't attracted to blacks would be like calling her homophobic if she isn't attracted to women.

Whether it needs to be punished or not is the issue. I saw no because the right to self select a mate for me trumps the need to eliminate this form of racism.

It used to be we could use the word “discriminate” and its definition relied on the context: discriminating who your friends were was different than discrimination that denied opportunity but our enemy conflates the two now.
