Ukraine needs almost 10,000 tons of food daily from abroad, according to a briefing document.

That's 500 Semi Trucks a day, or 100 rail cars and it has to be distributed across a nation torn with war with road damage and roadblocks everywhere, and their transportation infrastructure is not that good outside of cities. This does not include the fuel required to maintain constant resupply.

Now that rail facilities are starting to get hit, and no food production at home, food is going to become more of an issue.
Bro, that’s 2 freight trains for a nation of 43m. They’re still growing plenty of food. We import 10x that in Canadian beaver pelts
I'm looking at the entire global situation and how it impacts Ukraine's ability to stop Russia and push the Orcs back inside their borders. When look at nations barely being able to feed their population right now, and add in Ukraine is trying to do all this and push back the Orcs, it's a heavy lift to do it all. Especially when the folks supporting you have their own very real problems.

Hell, I could be wrong. Maybe the Russian invasion is just Transitory ;)
Ukraine + modern MIC weaponry has held off the orcs just fine. The Riders of Gondor have this handled. No need for a hobbit or rings here.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

Ironically, the Democrats MSM liked Russia more when they were Communist and our enemies in the Cold War. Once they fell and become Capitalists it wasn't welcome to the party.

Probably just rage for showing the failings of Marxism on such a grand scale.

Why do you say the technology isn't there? Technology isn't the issue, you could easily run America with renewables today with the current technology. The issue is the cost of switching over. Renewables are starting to become cost competitive, but still more expensive, and the majority of that cost is paid up front. That is a hefty bill to be paid all at once.
With our current technology there is not enough copper, nickel, cobalt and lithium available at an affordable price to replace the 275 Million vehicles in the US alone. Then we don't have the electricity production or transmission production available. Nuclear is the only way to produce enough, but then you still need to be able transmit that energy where you need it. And all of that requires more natural resources, and intensive mining.

That's what I mean by saying the technology isn't there. Our current resources do not support our current technology to replace petroleum.
Batteries do not need to be lithium ion. For grid scale storage look into things like pumped-hydro.

You haven’t been paying attention. There are no sanctions on Russian gas/energy. The EU realized they were slitting their own throats and backed off.

Then Putin demanded payment in rubles and they caved.

This is no longer a western-driven world. He won.
Yeah, the West really put way too many chips on the table for Ukraine. It was a stupid move, and anyone paying attention knew it. They lost more than Ukraine is worth.

Yeah, ok.

This is all going to play itself out. You have made your bet known. The wheel is spinning. No backsies.

It's now fully NATO vs Russia

NATO Oligarchs vs Russian Oligarchs and we're all along for the ride.

No one here has a stake in this war, but you will be forced to support NATO Oligarchs one way or another.

Frankly, none of these Oligarchs are worth it.

I haven't been paying close attention to the details of this war, but the whole thing to me looks like nothing more than 2 corrupt governments warring with each other. while a bunch of other corrupt governments virtue signal from a safe distance. The ones I feel for are the peasant class like us who are just along for the ride and bar the brunt of the fallout.
