Gonzalo has been missing since the 15th. There are reports that he was tortured and beheaded by the Azovs but no confirmation.

Sounds like to me someone holds too much confidence over their own import.
Why do you feel compelled to provide input on topics that you are demonstrably ignorant about? What do you even know about the guy?
He's an American Author/novelist/"film director"... he was/is critical of Ukraine and he specifically thinks he is a victim of the "Zelensky regime"...

Did I miss anything?

He held the opinion that being an American and a media person granted him more leniency than anyone else. It seems he was sorely mistaken.

You miss more than you can you ever know.

I thought TC was referring to himself.
#Metoo but the irony was squandered as you can see by his latest reply.

I know some people say they "barely" pay attention to the "news". But I have really tried not to for years. Anyhow, I find it amusing and curious that all of a sudden for this particular conflict we have full-on propaganda for volunteers joining said Ukrainians. I don't ever recall this being a thing for any of the other notable wars except WWI and the Spanish Civil War. (*some people joined up with the British or French b/c the USA wasn't directly involved until 1917 etc.)
The conflict does feel like the Spanish Civil War to me. No 'good' side, brutal war, tons of propaganda, being fought in a region of the world that normally people DGAF about.

Nuland, Biden and Pelosi really care about Ukraine. So should everyone else according to them.

Then amuse me... because honestly if he is in Ukraine throwing stones at the state he is in during a time of war, I think he's an idiot.

Yeah, it's their money laundering operation, and they've never made more money. With all the Billions being sent to bag man Zelensky, and virtually no accounting because it's a war zone, that money and equipment will be flowing all over the world. You can bet some of these weapons are just being sold on the blackmarket, money being funneled around to who knows where and back to US politicians, but waive your flag

All I know is instead of doing his job he decided to play politics in a country where he would be killed for unpopular views, I don't care who he is. He opened his mouth and might have taken a bullet for his opinions. That is the risk you take when you are in a country dissing them in the process.

If he is like any other leftist out there, I don't follow them, don't care about them, and won't give them the time of day. The fact you think I should tells me nothing.
