Best time to plant a tree is last year.

Gardens take quite a while to establish too. And fertilizer isn’t getting cheaper.
Go do some carp fishing. Some of the best fertilizer you can get. All it will cost is a couple of cans of corn, providing you already have fishing tackle.
You’re burying carp in your garden?
In the fall after harvest. You can do it now too.
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

For fuck sake, 1984 is NOT an instruction manual!

Decomposing fish worked for the Native Americans, it should be able to work for us. What do you think compost gardening ultimately is?

This is all part of their plan. Make gas vehicles too expensive to run, push electric. Bribe people with government EV subsidies. Print the money to fund said subsidies.

It does seem to fit that explanation.

I was just in CA: it seems like a foreign country now.

Just a question... why is California growing rice? One of the most water-intensive crops out there ever to be grown?

That, and almonds.
Western water rights are a bizarre mess.

It has nothing to do with water rights... This has to do with stupidity.

When supermarkets try to hide stock shortages.

The tags underneath say out of stock.

And the isle as a whole, as well as cooking oils, something that is always stocked.

This is S&S in Chelmsford, MA BTW.

Yup, that is the problem with California's agriculture, they want to grow all of the water intensive crops, and end up using up all of their water. For all the claims of caring about sustainability California is arguable the least sustainable state.

I say we flood the Central Valley, and recreate the inland sea that used to exist there when ocean levels were higher.

To add to this, I have a theory that Democrat politics is just applying issues that exist in California to the rest of the country even though they are not issues in the rest of the country.
