They have already signaled what they want to do. I think it was Powell at the Fed that said the US Dollar can share Reserve Currency status with some other money. The Conservative wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 5:33 am
I'm not 100% sure about the petro dollar is a thing of the past. Russia is attempting to get their currency as the currency of oil...at the same time attach their dollar to the gold standard...
Note, they've been telling us for 1-2 decades that China will be the superpower of the 21st C. Yet all they have to offer is spying, tyranny. bribery, and fraud.

I keep on saying China can't be a superpower with how many bubbles it has, etc... all it needs to do is piss of the US and it will collapse upon itself rather quickly.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 8:56 amThey have already signaled what they want to do. That would work if the US weren’t just as bubbly. There’s a real chance the entire globe collapses. That would be biblical. The Conservative wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 12:23 pmI keep on saying China can't be a superpower with how many bubbles it has, etc... all it needs to do is piss of the US and it will collapse upon itself rather quickly.C-Mag wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 8:56 amThey have already signaled what they want to do. And it would be justified, but honestly, I think the US is in a very strong position with a very weak president, and people just don't see it because we are being told shit is gold...SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 12:34 pmThat would work if the US weren’t just as bubbly. What we need to do is get companies to leave China, don't ask, demand them to leave or they won't be able to sell their products made in China in the US anymore.
Allow a one-time use of their international money to be used to transfer and move things back to the US at no extra cost to them except for the transfer to US dollars. (Taxes will not be paid on this money as it enters the US market)
Start producing these products in the US, yes they are going to be more expensive, we need to suck it up and live with it for now.
Get oil production up and running, get the pipeline moving, and start drilling for new oil so we won't be dependent on international oil ever again.
While that is going on work on producing green energy without subsidies, whatever survives does so on its own merits. Remove the demands of corn as used for ethanol.
Take back the property owned by countries that wish to do the US harm and put it back into the open market for US citizens to buy (not shell corporations, etc)
Get trade schools to be more important than degrees, get people willing to work blue-collar employment again. Get America to work with their hands, and get out of the mindset that white-collar employment is the way to make a living.
Dirty hands are clean hands.

Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine
China faces too many internal problems.
Poor internal transportation system, due to...
- Bad geography
- Poor Construction ability
- River systems can only service a small portion of the country
Not enough food production, due to ...
- Bad Geography
- All their food production is in valleys that regularly flood
- Cities are packed into the same valleys they need for food production
Very difficult to export power
- The only viable route is the Pacific, and the Pacific is huge
- They have to pass by Taiwan or Japan to get that Navy out or any shipping
- Due to distances, they can only maintain economic power when fuel is cheap

Papa was wise.
Back to the world of Glorius Ukraine and Evil Pootin.
The first EU member state agrees to pay for Russian gas in rubles.
“If there is a condition to pay in rubles, then we will pay in rubles.”
