Yeah, my default assumption was that the Russians believed the Ukrainians had air defense systems somewhere within a block of that hospital and they just leveled the entire block.
I bet they can't afford to lose anymore aircraft at this point. The cost of losing more aircraft is far greater than the public relations cost of bombing a maternity ward.
there is a political tribe which can't seem to adjust for the changing situation

They are saying they lost contact with several divisions and that the fatalities could already be over 10,000. But they don't know for sure because they have no contact.
That leaked two days ago. It makes sense when you think about how they are escalating things right now. They are really fucking pissed.

Nah, evidence is a good thing.
There are biolabs everywhere. That doesn't mean anything by itself. GoF research like what was happening at the Wuhan Institute of Virology is something special that happens in a special kind of biolab.
