most Canadians do not think Canada controls its own destiny

most Canadians think that the government is a puppet of Washington, which it is

so most Canadians ignore politics altogether

that's why these angry mobs seem fake, because most Canadians just get on with their lives, they don't participate in Democracy

the whole American "Greatest Democracy in the world" so have to get involved paradigm, that doesn't exist here

the only Canadians who get involved are the ones with the vested interests, which is why spontaneous mobs forming seems like false flag

so there is nothing really up for grabs, voting doesn't make any difference, so it's nothing to argue about

Canadians are actually much more likely to be arguing about American politics, because the decisions are made in America

Canadians elections are like Kabuki theatre, nobody thinks they really matter, it's just going through the motions

again, Canadians don't form angry mobs over a Canadian election, it doesn't make enough of a difference for people to get that up in arms

Lefties hate the Conservatives as if they were the equivalents of Fascists...
Some of them hate Trudeau that way...
They want the Greens or the NDP, but more than that want the evil O'Toole to lose.

Well, it's Kabuli theater here too, but we at least have big policy differences that separate us.
Now, whether you have R's controlling everything, D's controlling everything, or a mix, the same shit always happens
So it doesn't really matter who wins -because they're all on team insider/swamp.
But we throw our votes behind the folks that pay our values lip service, at least.
