Cones on a dog suck. Enjoy the summer, indeed. Uggg.
we feel bad for him, but It's like medical supervision right now

if the tumour heals up, he gets out of the cone

but if it starts to bleed, then he's on doctors orders

he still has quality of life, he can still get around, he still enjoys his food, he still sleeps on our king sized bed
Ruff stuff. I get it, been there done that. What's mostly mine is yours except for your best interest. Savor it is all one can do.
I had to put my other dog down last year

I had a feeling of dread going into that

but now that I have been through that, I know how it goes, I'm prepared for it now

it is tough, my wife let out a wail when Kima collapsed into her arms, it gutted me

but now I feel stronger, I can do it again, I'll just lean on the Lord

Pheasant is tasty.
With rosemary, thyme, Madeira sauce and root veggies.

Madeira sauce, now you're talking.
Maybe a few wild blackberries thrown in last minute.
Juniper berries go well with game meat.
And rowan berry jelly.

I like to use redcurrant with venison and port.
Orange or cherries with duck.
Fruit complements the richness of game meat.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

We did hospice with our last pup. We won't be doing that again. We had euthanized our other dog and a couple of cats before that. There ain't no good alternatives when it comes to forever goodbyes. Stronger for sure but never easier.

Oh, yes. Hunting is big here. Even if you live in a town, you can join a team in the countryside for hunting. We have a big surplus of game in many parts of Sweden right now. Especially wild boar, red deer and fallow deer. Roe deer and moose is always plentiful.

Popular game fowl are pheasant, capercaillie, grouse and wood pigeon. And various waterfowl.
