Re: Is Bitcoin a Currency?
If we're defining currency as a medium of exchange, then BitCoin and several other things are currency.
Cherry picking examples of transactions that may or may not be viable for that currency is meaningless, since the same game could be applied to all currencies.

Hey brother! I'm good. No I lost interest in online dating. They actually refunded my money unprompted. Not sure if it's because I wasn't using it or because they didn't want to recognize protonmail for validation.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 1:15 pmGood to see you Nuke.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 11:51 amIt's the only way I can pay for racist podcast paywalls

Bitcoin is clearly a commodity. Most commodities can function as a currency under some circumstances. Like cigarettes in prison.
