Alabama Sues Over How Census Counts US Population

The state of Alabama is suing the federal government over how it counts people in the census, claiming it will lose a seat in Congress because it has a low illegal-alien population.

The lawsuit, filed May 21, 2018, in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, is garnering attention now after two federal judges permanently enjoined the Trump administration from adding a citizenship question to the 2020 census earlier this month.

Funny, Alabama was all aboard counting their non-citizen unpaid "guest workers" as 3/5 of a person when it was to their representative benefit. Lets also point out that the census citizenship question would not have directly affected the issue AL is raising. Non-citizens who filled it out would still have been counted. This way of doing it is as old as the republic, it would have been just as ridiculous to exclude non-citizens 100 years ago when >20 of the nation was born elsewhere.

Ed says, It's too late. You could put every Marine from Pendelton on the border and it wouldn't be enough. The cartels and people south of the border fully understand crossing the border is accepted by the US right now and they are coming.
