Whatevs. Do your combat training in the woods. I got drywall to hang.
I’ve won the only fistfight anyone cared to try with me, faced down my share of Big Men in the bar scene. Nothing to prove there.

Re: Dan Carlin
been there, done that
I have that muscle memory ingrained
I am confident that the training will take over in the event of contact
at which point it is in the hands of the Almighty
so at this point I have switched to communing with Him, for he is my protector and salvation in the end
whatever, I'm gonna die, my wife is gonna die, but we will be together in the next world to come

Who says you have to pick one?SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 8:22 amJust too many gods out there to pick one I guess. The basic tenets of Judeo-Christianity are appealing, as are the Buddhist/Taoist ones.
Other than that, I have no strong opinions on religion, until a pack of fundamentalist morons start making laws.
God ain't jealous.
Well - Yahweh was...
So maybe don't pick him... unless you like the jealous type.

No, I don't... back down, for better or worse. lol. It was the thing that attracted my wife to me... she appreciated that I have the "no quarter" attitude, and I always find a way to make things work, and I don't give up.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:21 pmI don't worry about you, TCThe Conservative wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:17 pmI work in IT, and I am only still in it now because I am remote, and I insist on staying remote. I just couldn't work in an office, I couldn't fit into beta woman's world
my wife is a corporate whizkid, she thrives in effeminate corporate world
so I just took the money and ran, classic Gen X Slacker
I served a long stretch in the trenches for the free world, I've earned my retirement
It's also the reason I am writing a book series, is so that if I make enough money off of it, I can retire and get the fuck out of the rat race. Perhaps get back into fighting shape again and work on things I've wanted to for a long time.
maybe it's your autism, but you have the alpha male instincts
you have high disagreeability, high conscientiousness
you say you are small, but it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog
autism is a double edged sword, but the usefull edge it that it makes you relentless, you won't back down
I'm short, not small...but as my son has already proven, and as you stated, it doesn't matter on the size of the person, but the spirit inside the person that matters.
I'm afraid with a lot of the leftists and the Democrat patsies out there, as my grandfather would say "There is a lot of quit in them."

Yeah that there’s the problem with dogma. The whole ‘purging of non-believers’ thing gets in the way of enlightenment.DrYouth wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:28 pmWho says you have to pick one?SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 8:22 amJust too many gods out there to pick one I guess. you turned your autism from a weakness to a strength, and the mating female came to you
that's some warrior shit right there
this is what I am trying to teach to Capps about women, play to your strengths, girls just want a leader
nice guys finish last because they are too agreeable and women interpret that as being effeminate

Well, be like me in the way that I don't give up... I would never want to have someone live the life I did though. I am trying to teach my son how to be like that without living through all the hard lessons I learned. I'm afraid he as stubborn as I am though and will make some of the same mistakes, but I'll be there long enough so he will come out the other side a better man though.DrYouth wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:37 pmCappy you hear that baby...Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:36 pmyou ascended to the top of the male dominance hierarchy
