my concern with Biden is not ideological, the Woke moral panic domestic crisis is a separate issue

he's just too old, he's senile, he's not really running things

so actually, America doesn't have a unitary Commander-in-Chief at the moment

and when tactical nuclear weapons are in play at theater level, that's bad juju
Biden had an ideology, he just forgot it.
the entrenched interests are just propping him up like an automaton in front of the cameras

he can barely read the teleprompter, he's in a fog

being a Neoconservative Hawk myself, me & Obama can get along just fine

alls I'm saying is, no half measures

if you're going to get up in Ivan's kitchen like President Reagan did, you have to go all the way

Eagle with thunderbolts in talons grasped, peace through strength

First few seconds of that sound like a cult... nope.
the military is a Death Cult by nature

has to be, how else do I get a teenager to go over the top to his doom for God & Country ?
Train people to compartmentalize. There used to be a time where you broke a person to build them back up, now it just seems to break them down and have them do what you want without asking questions.

that's not my experience, I don't have any serious concerns with how American troops are trained

best trained troops in the world, better than ever, the training is practically SOF level across the entire combat arms

like when I joined the army back in the 80's, we were the best trained army in the world, the Canadians

the Americans were not as good as us, they were still coming out of the Post Vietnam Era

that has completely reversed now tho, the American troops are head & shoulders above the rest of NATO now

NATO never had teeth, except for the US and perhaps one or two other countries...

back in the 80's, the US military hadn't shaken of the Draftee attitude

American troops basically joined for the job, and they had a kind of fuck the army attitude

we were British trained essentially, so we had an elitist attitude, we were a praetorian guard

at the end of the Cold War, NATO countries took their peace dividends and starting collapsing their military's

America went in the opposite direction, America invested heavily in the All Volunteer Force

now the American troops are the praetorian guard and the NATO troops are slack

it's like America had a super soldier military back in 1965

that military was wrecked in Vietnam, over a decade

then it took a decade to recover

then it went hard for the next decade, and now it is back to 1965 super soldier military again

whatever is going on with civilians in the streets, that has not as of yet impacted readiness for war

it's like SOCOM, that's 70,000 troops

that is larger than most militaries in the world

America has more commandos than most countries have personnel army, navy, airforce combined

the whole Russian army is only 350,000 troops, they couldn't beat SOCOM never mind the combined forces

thus is why the Russians will have to use tactical nuclear weapons to even the odds

the situation has reversed from Cold War One

in Cold War One, the Soviets were the juggernaut,

they were the massive force spending 50% of their resources on war

we were the ones backs against the wall with tactical nuclear weapons in the face of them

and we were prepared to use those tactical nuclear weapons in the breach

the Russians are not the Soviets, they are at best one tenth that size now

they are the ones who are surrounded, outnumbered, backs against the wall,

again, with tac nukes as their only trump card

this is why the Obama Doctrine is Flexible Response

the Eisenhower Massive Retaliation doctrine was in the face a Soviet Juggernaut, or so they surmised

the Obama Doctrine says that America can't tie its hands into that sort of doomsday war only paradigm

the Obama Doctrine says a theater thermonuclear war is now the nuclear war America is going to face

Massive Retaliation no longer makes sense, because America has an overwhelming conventional advantage

America is not bound to retaliate with nuclear weapons even,

America has the option respond to a tactical nuclear strike by conventional means only
