I mean it's true...

The military are Karens from top to bottom.

Rulebound operations. Unquestioning obedience. Plenty of scolding.


This works for the military.

They don't really want too many original thinking and rule breakers.... it gets disorderly.

But when the going gets tough.. its original thinking and rule breakers who crack the difficult problems.

So luckily a few tend to survive in the margins and rise to the top when they are needed.


So ya... I see the challenge in moving through the current paradigm.

that's the thing about the Potsdam Agreement and associated Inter German Border

the Nazis had completely militarized German society top to bottom

so the West Germans were easily converted to the NATO side

and the East Germans were just as easily converted to the Soviet side

it happened practically overnight, all we did was change their standing orders

you can see the reverse effects with the invasion of a completely militarized Iraq

America didn't take command in Iraq, the Iraqis were told : you're free, do whatever you want

so it descended into chaos, because there was no civil society underpinning it, the whole country was a giant army

thing is, if you don't maintain iron discipline in the military, the troops will quickly run amok

we are unlocking their inhibitions, indoctrinating them to be supremely aggressive mass murderers

if you don't keep that on a short leash, it can go Lord of the Flies on the drop of a hat

like I've been in some pretty crazy military rumbles, drunken parties in the field that got out of hand

it was like prison riots, gangs of soldiers going around settling scores, no officers around at all

you are institutionalized, it's like a low security prison work camp

if the inmates go unsupervised, it doesn't take long to get explosively violent

the other thing is, the troops like the Woke regime

it's definitely a kindler gentler military, far less of a harsh realm

the vast majority of troops are not complaining

in fact they are more willing to deploy on endless wars, so long as it's Woke

which is why the Pentagon is embracing it

it's a jobs program, civilianization of the military, transforming it into an armed civil service
