Anybody have an opinion in using Fidelity to buy fractional shares of Amazon? I know it spiked like crazy over the last year, but it’s only got 40% of market share and I think purchasing habits have changed for the long term. I could also buy true shares, but like the idea of not having to drop $3K every time I want some Bezos.
Does amazon offer dividends?
Also buying physical gold 1oz bars.

Amazon, along with most big tech, do not offer dividends.Zlaxer wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 7:24 amAnybody have an opinion in using Fidelity to buy fractional shares of Amazon? I would be wary of investing in Amazon right now, their valuation is currently inflated. As people get the vaccine a lot of them are going to want to go out and do stuff, such as shopping, that will probably cause Amazon's value to drop some. I would wait for that before buying.
They will also most likely be targeted for anti-trust/monopoly laws in Europe soon, and possibly the US as well. I think the US will be targeting Google first, though, so that might give you some time.

I’m with you on the gold/silver, but I wouldn’t go anywhere near the stock market right now.

Need to gamble and hedge - I keep saying a crash is coming - and it should - but the elites keep coming up with schemes to post pone it - right now, I think they fully intend to inflate the debt away - so no crash for a little bit.
Amazon spiked this year - but the question is whether it will keep growing. I think it will - trend was moving to online buying - covid forced stragglers to learn how to
Buy online - people like the infinite selection of online buying - the elites hate strip malls.
Need more of a reason to think Amazon is going to take it on the chin. I see them like Microsoft in the 90s - big, but on way to be a monster.
Also, what about REITs? All those illegals Emperor Harris is about to let in need a place to live - why not get some of that sweet tax payer subsidizes for myself?

As for Amazon, their price is absurdly high vs their earnings. You’re not the first one with that idea.
