The POTUS and his team put on a good convention. The finale tonight was great because of the crowd.

I'm actually all for the 401k to be dissolved, I'd rather put it in a pension my bank has in place.C-Mag wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 8:35 pmPretty much the way I see it.Ph64 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 8:29 pmMy thinking on the election...
Election day: Trump gets a landslide amount of in-person votes.
Following week: Millions of mail in votes from dead, illegal, and dead pet "voters" come rolling in, scandal erupts, courts get involved, it becomes a fiasco of fraud claims, democrats do everything they can to steal it.
...but that's just MHO.
Today Kamalatoe said the riots aren't stopping, no matter who wins, the riots are stopping. She sounded happy about it.
A couple of days ago Joe pledged to end 401K retirement funds

That will be headline regardless of the truth. They have already done it with Sturgis. No mention of a single COVID case due to "protesting".pineapplemike wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 2:35 amunless "Dozens of COVID Infections Spread at Maskless RNC" is a headline you're comfortable with

Fuck that! I want to keep my 401k. Pension plans almost always go belly up. Self control in savings (401k) will allow you to retire comfortably. I work in the industry and I know. Hell my wife and I did not start saving until our early 30’s. I do a financial analysis twice a year and we are pace to be able to retire before we are in our 60’s. I’m maxing out my 401k contributions and we are getting close to maxing out her’s. I also put back 200 a pay intoThe Conservative wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 5:29 amI'm actually all for the 401k to be dissolved, I'd rather put it in a pension my bank has in place.C-Mag wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 8:35 pmPretty much the way I see it.Ph64 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 8:29 pmMy thinking on the election...

company stock. It’s all about your priorities. We worked hard in our 20’s to build our life and minimized new debt and eliminated old debt.

My thoughts as well. Trump gets more votes than he did in 2016, yet somehow Biden gets a record number of votes. Lots of fraud. The Dems have stated, and even shown, that they will do anything to win this election. Energy for Biden is in the basement, yet somehow, magically, he will get a record turnout.C-Mag wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 8:35 pmPretty much the way I see it.Ph64 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 8:29 pmMy thinking on the election...

So the media that ignored any mention of the DNC's poor viewership is eager to plaster "RNC ratings down on night 3" all over.
I didn't watch nay of either convention. How was Trump's speech? Naturally media headlines are bashing it as "the worst speech ever'.

A few months ago the WHO determined that COVID transmission risk from surfaces was low. The US CDC freaked out and demanded they recant.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 7:48 amCan't let headlines determine your strategy; that's what they want.pineapplemike wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 2:35 amunless "Dozens of COVID Infections Spread at Maskless RNC" is a headline you're comfortable with
