You clearly aren't familiar with Franklin Pierce's hilarious bit where he pretended to be deaf and dumb. Had John Archibald Campbell in stitches every time.
Did he tell other Americans to ''go back where you came from'' too?
Since I am just making up Franklin Pierce facts, sure... I mean probably. It was the 19th century, after all.
You could be making up Franklin Pierce himself for all I know.
We don't learn the names of US Presidents at school.
Washington, Lincoln and Kennedy and that's pretty much it.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Dude, just looking at where you post, I think you would like weird shit? In fact, this is a real comment, examine your anti-Trump motives closely: you're more like him than not like him...
I don't mind the weird shit, personally, but I understand why governmental and media institutions don't like it. It is silly to claim Trump is just an innocent bystander that is constantly under attack for no reason. He does weird shit. It is what his supporters like about him, and what everybody else dislikes.

Also, not for nothing, but me being amused by his weird shit is a long way from thinking that all the weird shit makes him competent at his current job, which I don't believe he is.
If his job is to halt globalism, halt off-shoring, halt TPP, redo NAFTA, support Brexit, stand up to China, build a Wall, cut taxes on the Middle Class, piss off the Leftist media, and entertain me; then no wonder I consider him the best president during my lifetime. If you're an egalitarian, then not-so-much.
I am not convinced halting globalism will be more than a Pyrrhic victory at best, and I view most of the anti-globalist talking points as populist claptrap. But, that is why I am not a Trump supporter.

But, even if that were his job, I still don't think he is particularly competent. He can get people are fired up, but lacks the political savvy to actually get the job done. A clever anti-globalist populist wouldn't make so much noise.

Now, if his job is to pander to sympathetic crowds... yes, he is very very good at his job.
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

The job of the president is to represent the people of said country... if the majority want something it is his job to make sure their will is heard.

As of the last 30+ years they have been catering to their party, not the people. Trump is really the first president in a long time that has no ties to the political structure, and in turn, can tell them to fuck off by doing the will of the people, and not the will of the party.

The job of the Representatives in the House is to represent their constituents. Only a populist thinks that is the president's job, and only a moron would confuse their own preferences as the popular will of the whole country. That is why, constitutionally speaking, that is absolutely NOT the presidents job.

So, you're implying he's fooling me but you're too smart and see through it? One of us is wrong. Hmmm... I wonder how we can tell? Give me a lowdown of why you think your opinion is superior to mine?

I 100% agree with what you are saying in theory, but that hasn't been the case since I've been alive. So right now we take what we can get, and if that means a president representing the people, then so be it. Fuck congress sure in hell isn't doing it.

One of the great things about America is that most people like their Representative, but dislike congress as a whole. That makes me think the reps are doing their job, and the institution is stable enough to resist bad ideas.
