What you are defending is not liberty. Americans were literally locked in quarantines during the lifetimes of the people who wrote the Constitution. Nothing is stopping anyone sick/at risk from staying home. At all. My bosses have decided to see how long they can weather out this storm and not have to work. IS the war on drugs a war? What about the war on poverty? War on racism?

When I hear society declaring a war on something that is not a tangible enemy like Wermacht or North Korea, it seems like that is just nanny state tyranny trying to mask itself.

Some folks don't have to work. That's awesome. That's their choice. Same goes for those who have to work/want to work. All should be able to do as they please.
