Thread Title: "I DON'T LIKE TRUMP"

I was talking about that particular conversation with Smitty.
Threads sometimes wander off topic to something more interesting. Get over it.
It would be easier to get over if the "something more interesting" part of the thread actually materialized.
I managed to squeeze some information I found interesting out of a reluctant Smitty but I can't be held responsible for what you find interesting. Sorry about that.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

They look like pretty subjective reasons to me. I might use several of them to argue why he is such a poor President.
DUDE, you asked me to list why he’s the most successful president in my lifetime; you don’t get to kibitz.
OK, and you gave me reasons why you think he is. Many of which I felt showed the opposite. Nothing was proven but thanks for playing.
This response proves my point that your TDS is a result of your severe disappointment at the halting of Marxism by OWGs.

There, I've said it out loud. There can be no more confusion.
I'm led to believe that some of you didn't like Obama. That's allowed too.
I think holding leaders up to the spotlight is OK. In fact, it is necessary and highly desirable to do so if you want them to be held accountable for their errors.
Thing is though, were you accused of having Obama Derangement Syndrome every single time you did it?
How would you have reacted if every time you complained about him you were simply dismissed as having OBS?
If OBS accusations were levelled at you as a tactic purely to avoid having to counter any criticisms would you have put up with that?
Sometimes it is valid to say that an argument is deranged. That's OK too but some people have nothing else, all they can do is shout TDS at the slightest criticism. It's intellectually lazy, insulting and tedious. These people have another form of TDS known as Trump Delusional Syndrome which the same disease but on the other side of the spectrum.

Right, I've said my piece. You can now fill the thread up with posts completely ignoring what I've just said and calling me the worst case of TDS you've ever encountered or whatever.
Capps and Martin first...
Who could've guessed? How have either helped, or hindered, you with your cell service? I find it really weird to have such strong opinions on people that have no bering in your day to day life and that you only can know through 2nd hand biased sources, at best.

TDS people can’t be convinced.

Don’t worry, no one can change anyone’s mind, but you deny that fact more vehemently than usual due to your TDS.

p.s. when somebody changes my mind, it means I’d never really made it.
Damn that's a good line. I might steal it for personal use but I will not use it on the forum, deal?

Bold statement, care to back it up with an explanation?
America was lost to The New World Order. NO ONE ELSE would have had the balls to counteract them: renegotiate NAFTA, kill the TPP, put the breaks on “Free” Trade, THE WALL, lower Tax Rates to the Middle Class, 2 conservative SCOTUS, NO new wars, and recently, withdraw from WHO. Look at his rallies, for chrissakes: no president has been able to do that since Teddy Roosevelt. (Who Trump reminds me of. Modern egalitarians would have HATED Teddy.)
They look like pretty subjective reasons to me. I might use several of them to argue why he is such a poor President.
You asked a subjective question. If you have a specific goal or set of goals in mind, and you reach them, you have achieved succes. Might not be a worthy, desirable or impressive goal to others, but to those who it is... it is.

You don’t like Trump. Subjective. Martin does. Subjective. Politics is subjective because values are, because political and ideological goals are.

Acting dismissive of Martin's explanation, for it simply being subjective achieves the same as dismissing the personal, subjective distate of Trump as a verifiable medical diagnosis.

If that was for me, thanks, but I already know the meaning of the term, Hastur.
