I like the characters. Giovanni Ribisi (Pete) plays a great con artist imo, and Bryan Cranston is an epic villain. If you like heist type stuff, then you'd probably like the ending. Most con artist movies like the Oceans series are terrible to me. But I think Bryan Cranston alone makes season 1 worth watching.

Yeah, I enjoyed season 1. It just seemed like season 2 was going to be the same again with different baddies. Maybe I'll give it another go after I've finished Breaking Bad.

Smitty still hasn't seen it yet, too much good weather, turkey vultures and NLM

We have disagreed on this in the past. I am not a huge BB fan (didn't outright hate it, but also don't love it). BCS started out slow, but I have come to enjoy the later seasons. Its not my favorite show, but I particularly liked those Mesa Verde troll Ads he threatened to run, and the subplot with the latest episode. I really enjoy the Lalo (I think thats the name of the cartel guy in jail right now) character. That guy is a great actor. The show is heating up, and Mike as usual has always been a rock solid addition to it.

I really hated his brother Chuck, and the court scene where he outsmarted him and his bullshit fake ass mental condition was also epic. That was a nod to a scene with Humphrey Bogart in the Caine Mutiny. They did the same thing to him on the stand and made him look crazy. I love me some Humphrey Bogart.

I have read various theories that Kim will eventually become the money launderer for Saul by the time BB rolls around. I have also heard it speculated she will be killed, or more plausibly break up with him when he goes to far. Afaik, Saul is single by the time he meets Walt and Jesse, so there is likely to be a falling out.

The show is basically going to have a tragic ending right? Or at least bittersweet, seeing as how we know what it is building up to.

How do you think Jimmy will end up in the BCS timeline set after BB? Do you think he will get away or get caught?
I don't think he's going to die in the end, but beyond that idk.

As an aside, I was kind of let down by the El Camino movie. Did you like it?
