Even if this turns out not to be the Doomsday Bug, this is what they look like

So far, it has this little mechanism which makes repairs, so its mutation rate it slow

That's our saving grace right now, but it can change, the bug can change and turn on a dime
It could change for the good or for the bad. If it changes for the bad, then I'd go with the Smitty Plan.
It can't change for the good, it's "good" right now, because it's only slowly mutating

It cant get any slower, it can only speed up

So either it's just going to stay like this, so perhaps not the Doomsday Bug, but the bug has a mind of its own

It can totally change for the good, a less lethal version could start spreading and give some level of immunity to some of the more lethal versions, the opposite could happen as well. Ebola mutated for the better and got less lethal, why can't it potentially happen with Coronavirus? Just because it's good now doesn't mean it can't get better, or worse.

It can totally change for the good, a less lethal version could start spreading and displacing the more lethal versions, the opposite could happen as well.
It doesn't displace, you just have a mix of lethal and non lethal and that's what I think we have now

That's why I say it's like a minefield, you don't know where the mines are

For kids it might not be lethal, but it would be lethal to me

It might be lethal to Mrs Smitty as well, which is Red Line : DEFCON 1

No one can trust their judgement, that doesn't prevent judging anyway, for me at least.
I know enough to know this is spooky af. This thing is like underwater Ebola aids.

You want the truth? I knew it was out of control. They projected a negative three percentage lose of gfp in China. That's when I told her to stock up. My wife. She did. She's out of a job and in the countryside with her family. I've been shit posting this whole time. Idk how bad this will be but I know they are losing control rn
The economic damage is going to be bad, 3 million Americans have lost their jobs since this began, most of it one week. I'm hearing projections of up to 20-30% reduction in American GDP for the second quarter.
It's really worse than that

It wouldn't necessarily be lethal to you, at worst you have like 14% chance of lethality, and Mrs Smitty would have far lower chances than that, and that's still probably a drastic overestimation. Unless it mutates into something far more lethal.

Could be, but the badness is the economic damage thus far, not the damage done from the virus itself, but the reaction to the virus.

It totally could, then again, you might be totally asymptomatic, heavy smoker over 50 or not. The later is actually far more likely than the former, I get not wanting to take chances, but no need to think you're definitely doomed if you get it, because that's not the case.

I get that. Soon we will see. This thing doesn't look good but it's probably passable. I am not looking forward to the end of this.

It's going to be bad bro
