Re: An apology
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

The United Empire Loyalists of Upper Canada are under siege by a foreign invader, backs to the wall

My great grandfather fought in every battle from Second Ypres to Mons in the Great War
Then died young of complications from inhaling gas in the war
He is here with me, right now

Nukraine Dog might have liked him
He was a militant white supremacist Orange Order Ulsterman
He wouldn't have liked Nukraine Dog tho, as Nukraine Dog is a Bloody Papist.

In the army, every regiment has a band, for a reason
Music stirs the heart
When you run to the sound of the guns, follow the Piper over the top
Faithful, unto Judgement Day
Go Leafs Go

My Great Uncle took the place of my Grandfather because my Grandpa had a family. Not a lot of info on what Great Uncle George did during the war, but they said he wasn't the same. He got into a lot of trouble after, minor crimes, ended up in prison a couple times.

None of that is useful for bioligical warfare, my tactical threat is practically nilC-Mag wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 12:34 pmLook at your family and property as if you were going to attack it, steal, etc.Xenophon wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 12:23 pm
Do you two have any advice for those of us not so gung-ho? I go back and forth between being angry at the stupidity and panic around me, to being mad at China for having a terrible culture that bred this plague, and being concerned with my family's well-being as we see reports that younger people aren't really dealing with it any better than the elderly.
- How would you get on your property, in your house, what would you go after ?
- Then figure out how to strengthen defense against that.
I'm an engineer. So I like defense in depth. Smitts is a Rifleman, he will have a different perspective.
- Defense in depth.
1. Obstacles - fences, thorny shrubs, trip hazards.
2. Early warning - dogs, cameras, sensors
3. Hardened targets - stiffen your main entrances, doors primarily. Figure out how to deal with windows.
4. Active Defense - Where none comatants go, where you plan to engage an enemy from.
5. QRF if possible - Mutual defense with neighbors. You or your neighbor gets a signal, they come to help.
That's a start.
Whomever Canadian wandered unto this homestead here would probably wet himself when the ambush struck
They don't actually come anywhere near me tho, because I am flying Old Glory over the estate
Watch out for that American, they are dangerous

I’m expecting martial law here within a couple of weeks. We already have the army maintaining road blocks in the NT. That started yesterday. Government has enabled corona cops too - cops with special powers to deal with people not playing the game. It’s just ‘hot spots’ for now but I expect that to change to. Interesting times

We are effectively under martial law right now for all intents & purposes, and more
Canada took martial law off the books by repealing the War Measures Act
But civilian law now is actually more draconian than martial law
They just haven't had much resistance, so they haven't had to bring out the stick

Our own real life version of The Stand. I wonder how long it will be until the first looter or quarantine breaker is shot?Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 1:42 pmWe are effectively under martial law right now for all intents & purposes, and more
