I'm in work jail tomorrow so I'm going to give this game a miss too.
It's back to back, so better rest up, they're in Anaheim tomorrow night
A midnight start is not so bad but 3.30 am is just too late.
Especially now that I am forgoing caffeine.
It's in Anaheim, so the GMT start is 0300h

Weather permitting, we are thrashing again on Saturday. Got to keep them thatchers supplied with straw.

Well, if you were going to miss a game, this was the game to miss

Goaltenders dual, no goals. Loafs lose in a shootout, when both Matthews and Marner fan on their shots

Loafs pick up an important point none the less, and Andersen was unbelievable, so Campbell is pushing him

Overall tho, the Loafs choked again, lesser opponent, but the Loafs couldn't find their game

Not as bad as in San Jose, but if Andersen wasn't amazing they would have got rinsed here too

At the same time, while the Johnny Quick was also good, the Big Four all had scoring chances and they all whiffed

How rare is 0-0 after full time in the NHL?

41 games have gone to a 0-0 shootout since the shootout was added in 2005, which is 0.25%

Wasn't actually a bad game, both teams showed up, there were lots of scoring chances

Legit goaltenders duel, both goalies matching each other save for save, one spectacular save after the next

So on the bright side, Andersen was lights out, Campbell has been great, so that is pushing Freddie

The downfall of the Loafs was that they were feeling the pressure, LA was not, LA is out of it, nothing to lose

So they were loose, the Loafs still in the playoff hunt were tight, squeezing the sticks

That evened things out and the Big Four were choking on their scoring chances

Kyle Clifford gets rocked by his pal Drew Doughty

Shanahan thinks Matthews can win a Selke. What's his next hot take, Tyson Barrie can win a Norris? Mitch Marner can win a Richard? Willy Nylander is going to become the most physical player in the NHL?

Talk about overvaluing the talent you have, no wonder the top guys are all overpaid.
