Obama speaking in the my city today, on education and entrepreneurship... 15,000 Danish kroner for a VIP ticket. And a worsening of the city's already miserable traffic situation (because apparantly all road construction work has to happen at the same time..).

Looking forward to laugh at the interviewed glossy-eyed sucker wannabe entrepreneurs gushing over how "inspirational" he was in interviews, though.
You can keep him. Hey, Denmark might be a nice place for his presidential library.
We'll take him, and his huge amounts of money, but only if you'll take Tommy Robinson in exchange.
No returns though, even after you find out what a violent, fraudulent, shit-stirring criminal Robinson is.

A gunman suspected of shooting at least nine people dead at two shisha bars in a German city revealed he had far-right political views in a confession letter he left behind.

The rampage late on Wednesday in Hanau, a town close to Frankfurt in the western state of Hesse, ended with the suspect killing himself.

German daily Bild said the man had left a written confession and a video claiming responsibilty for the attack.Police chased a car used to leave the scene of one shooting to its owner's address, where they found the bodies of a 43-year-old German man and his 72-year-old mother, Hesse interior minister Peter Beuth said.

Some of the victims were migrants from Turkey, officials said, while federal prosecutors said they had taken charge of the case due to indications that the attack had an extremist motive.

Speaking in Berlin, Mrs Merkel said: "Racism is a poison. Hate is a poison and this poison exists in our society and is already to blame for many crimes."

Turkey says at least five of the dead were Turkish citizens. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he expected Germany to "throw light on all aspects" of the attack.
Nazi salutes, banned swastika emblems and even the playing of the Horst Wessel, the one-time Nazi 'anthem' - all have been cropping up in far right extremist circles as Germany struggles to contain a growing wave of home-grown extremism.

The problem has been particularly acute in - but not confined to - the east of the country, in the former East Germany. There, unemployment levels have been higher than in the rest of Germany and a simmering resentment by some of recent immigrant arrivals has manifested itself in arson attacks on hostels.

In 2015 Germany opened its borders to an estimated 1.5 million refugees from the Middle East. Although the number of subsequent incidents involving them has been very small, their arrival has been used by far right extremists to stoke ethnic tensions and recruit more young men and women to their cause.

Not only is Germany knee-jerk anti-gun after every shooting, they are knee-jerk anti-free speech as well. Something bad happens, blame speech and guns, sad.

I sort of remember something happening in the 1930s to 1940s in Germany when they introduced anti-gun and anti-free speech stuff.

Sort of rings a bell, it's at the tip of my tongue...

Certainly, the rise of anti-immigrant, far-right social media has a part to play.
As more information comes out we will learn how this killer was radicalised...

Meanwhile, in London this afternoon...
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing inside a central London mosque.

The victim, who is in his 70s, was found with multiple injuries after emergency services were called to the London Central Mosque in Park Road, near Regent's Park, at 15:10 GMT.

He was taken to hospital by paramedics where his condition has been assessed as non-life threatening, the Met said.

A crime scene has been put in place while inquiries continue.

Images from inside the mosque showed a white man wearing a red hooded top, jeans and with bare feet being pinned to the floor by police officers.

Witnesses suggested on social media the victim had been stabbed in the neck
