The doctors aren’t employees, they’re Pay For Service. But eliminating State-by-State licensing would be another step in the right direction.

How is that different from a typical private practice? Clearly there's something I'm not getting. And many dentists practice exactly as you propose, no insurance accepted at all. But at least dental care is usually limited in scope and can't balloon up to hundreds of thousands of dollars with one bit of bad luck.

You recognized that Private Practice & dentistry basically work. It’s the surgeries & life-threatening that are exploited, and that’s what those guys do. They’re not GPs.
