I only have three really close friends from the army and growing up together, but two of them have kids, they are busy with their families, we see each other every few years, the people here I talk to every day.

Odd that technology has come so far since I was a kid that it's possible to never meet the dude who would become your best friend in person, but I'll be damned if that's not exactly what happened. Shout out to that warmonger Churchill for the unintended consequences of his imperial ambitions, or it never would have happened. A shame that so many people had to die to make that possible, but that's history for you.

I'll say this for Grumpy, I'm far more interested in what is going on in his seemingly miserable little life, than I am about what the Democrats said today about Trump.

All I am interested in, is the people here, I'm here to hang out with you, to see what is up with you, not Trump.

It can be both. I talk to my IRL friends about politics and history.
With the exception of farmer Paul and my family most of my mates are lefties and liberals. I'm the one on the right. I don't actually know anyone who voted Brexit or thinks climate change is a hoax so I come here to act as the agent provocateur in order to avoid being in an echo chamber.
I just don't understand why anyone would come here just to hate stalk. Unless you were actually looking for a fight you wouldn't be nasty about a man's family or call people a pedo down the pub. Since we can't take it outside in the virtual pub it's just nasty and stopping people come here.

I can be extroverted at the drop of a hat, I'm a businessman, I'm a salesman, I can switch into business mode easily.

I can be the life of a party too, I like to party, if I'm at a party, I can lead the Normies to loosen up
