Parents can control the credit card there, they have to physically take it out of their wallet to hand it over for the card, they can say no to more than a specific amount. Games that offer purchases in game for that kind of stuff don't have limitations, and in many cases I've seen people complain about $100+ charges on their cards for something that they thought was "just a game"... after the initial purchase.StCapps wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 12:06 pmSo do collectible playing card games, where's your petition to ban them too?The Conservative wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 12:02 pmWow, twattery abound... virtual game systems are employing gambling systems to make money. Let the parents exercise their responsibility, it is not the governments responsibility, nor should it be.
You basically want to ban booster packs of pokemon cards, in the name of "protecting the children". That's all a loot box is, you dumb fuck.

That's still on the parents, they have control over that too. None of the minor differences you mention mean it should be banned. If the kid can't play the game without buying dumb shit that you don't want them to, don't buy them games that allow them to do that, problem solved, no law required. The Conservative wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 12:10 pmParents can control the credit card there, they have to physically take it out of their wallet to hand it over for the card, they can say no to more than a specific amount. No you do not. When you create a child's account, it is a subaccount to your own, and you completely control what can be purchased from that account. The Conservative wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 12:04 pmIf you have an XBox or Play Station or even a Nintendo Switch, that is exactly what you do when you create their accounts unless you are responsible adults and not allow them full access. But most parents do, which is exactly why the issue happens.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 11:45 amThen don't give your kids access to your credit card. LOL
Which as I stated before, it can be a representation of the argument against punishing gun owners for what others do when they get access to something they never were meant to in the first place.

If the parents want to give them full access, that's on them. What irony? Perhaps I don't realize it, because there is no irony to realize. You want to ban loot boxes via federal law, and take away the choices of parents because you think you know what is best for their kids. Mind you own business. The Conservative wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 3:24 pmThe irony is thick here... and you don't even realize it.

So you are just trolling gun grabbers and you don't actually believe in a federal ban on loot boxes, you are just using this idiotic position to point out how gun grabbers are dumb? The Conservative wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 5:55 amPeoplele on this forum ant to ban/restrict guns for the exact same reason.
