Spacemerica is a love story

Love for your best girl, love for country

But the World is so far away

The Space Jungle is the coldest and most distant place American soldiers have ever died for

They don't tell you when you go, but one way or the other, you're never coming back . . .

Just don’t forget to send your toys spinning uncontrollably when they fire a projectile. Recoil is a serious problem with space guns.

The Apollo has nuclear electric thrusters, the flight control system is Fly by A.I. so it compensates for that

This is an ultra smart weapon, man-machine teaming, you & HAL 9000

Adaptive Operator Assist ; when you fire the GAU-8, the FCS balances that with thrust

You need either sub-millisecond thrust adjustments, or artificial gravity to make that work.

I recommend laser-heating weapons and EMP bursts. Ejected, self-propelled rockets are also an excellent option.

The A.I is working at nanosecond level, the A.I. has a persona, but below that, it is running very fast

Lasers are used as a disruptive weapon, suppression, forces you to take cover

There are various types of projectiles, but the Apollo is CQC, so that's guns, they can however call for fire support

Bear in mind, the LMT XV-11 Bravo is the Space Troops

But like the military now, it's combined arms, they have Space Artillery, Space Eningeers, etc, in support

First you have to get to the DZ

So you're "wearing" your Space Shuttle on the back of your MBD

Everybody is trying to shoot you down on the Drop Zone.

Once you get to the DZ at the Trace, you detach and go into the Jungle

So you are a rocket ship in transit, then you are a Space Troop for close combat, in the Approaches.

Then it is at point blank, shit comes out of the dust and rocks at you like a TIC

Delta Force in Space. Rock Kickers.

De Oppresso Liber. Spacemerica Fuck Yeah.

Give it up, you're talking science to an "SF writer" who has never read any. This is now a comic book, a science and physics free project, think Ironman meets Starship Troopers. Does Ironman end up a pile of goo in the bottom of his impervious suit when his reaction mass free rockets lose power and he falls from 5,000 feet to smash on the ground? He does not, comics are a physics free zone. Inertia does not exist! This is also why Superman can catch Lois Lane falling out of the sky without her passing through his arms divided neatly into 3 sections.
